The Mothers Behind The Little Posy Co. - Mother's Day 2026

Mother's Day is our busiest week of the year. But before the bouquets are wrapped and the deliveries go out, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to some of the mothers on our team - the women who show up every day to make Little Posy what it is.

Helen - Founder & Director, mum to three boys

I started The Little Posy Co. 12 years ago with a simple idea: Perth deserved better flowers, grown locally and delivered with care. What I didn't know then was that motherhood would shape the business just as much as floristry would.

My husband, Sam, and I have three boys - Finn, 9, Freddie, 6, and Rudy, nearly 3. Becoming a mum has made me more present, more grateful, and honestly a little more chaotic. My own mum, Sue, has been beside me through all of it - the business, the babies, the hard days and the beautiful ones. This photo of the three of us - three generations - is one of my favourites we've ever taken.

Mum, thank you. For everything.

Jess - Senior Florist, mum to Bob (8) and Morrie (6)

Jess has been part of the Little Posy team for about a decade - which means she has been here through almost every season, every Valentine's Day rush, and nearly every Mother's Day we've ever had. She is quietly brilliant at what she does.

Watching Jess become a mum to Bob and then Morrie over the years has been one of the great joys. The same care and patience she brings to every bouquet, she brings to those two boys.

Sal - Operations Manager, and her mum, Rosie

Sal joined the Little Posy team nearly three years ago and has become the person who quietly keeps everything running. She is the youngest of three girls, and when you see her with her mum, Rosie, you immediately understand where her personality comes from - they share the same wonderful, silly sense of humour that makes the whole studio brighter.

There is something really special about watching a daughter and her mum laugh together. It is truly infectious.

Finlae - Head Florist, mum to Marlow

Finlae joined us at the start of this year and stepped straight into the head florist role like she'd always been here. She has an incredible eye for colour and texture - and a two year old at home who we suspect has already inherited her creative energy.

Marlow's little face in this photo says everything about why we do what we do.
